Overview
Hapvey ("we", "us") builds and publishes Android applications and operates the website at www.hapvey.com. This policy explains what information is collected when you use our website or our apps, why it is collected, and the choices you have.
We design our apps to request as few permissions as possible. Where an app needs a permission, it is because a feature you asked for cannot work without it.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you email support@hapvey.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and we keep it only as long as needed to handle your request.
- Usage and analytics data. Our website and apps use analytics services to understand aggregate usage — for example which screens are opened and whether the app crashed. This data is used in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.
- Device and advertising data. Apps that show advertising use third-party advertising SDKs, which may process a device advertising identifier, coarse location derived from your IP address, and similar technical information in order to select and measure ads.
- Data you enter in an app. Information you enter into an app — such as height and weight in BMI Calculator — is stored on your device unless a feature explicitly states otherwise.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain and improve our apps and website.
- To diagnose crashes, bugs and performance problems.
- To respond to your support requests, feedback and enquiries.
- To display advertising that helps keep our apps free to download.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
We use third-party providers for analytics and advertising. These providers process data under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read:
Your choices
- Advertising identifier. Android lets you reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of ad personalisation, under Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Permissions. You can review and revoke any app permission at any time in your device settings.
- Uninstalling. Removing an app deletes the data it stored locally on your device.
- Access and deletion. To ask what data we hold about you, or to request its deletion, email support@hapvey.com.
Children's privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, and we use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our apps change or as the law requires. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
